I decided to rearrange my main bookcase today, with my books sorted by genre and about half of my unread books on the top shelf. Fantasy and classics have their own shelves, and science fiction and mystery share a shelf for now. I've been feeling uninspired by the flat lay compositions I have been trying lately. It seems like I do the same thing over and over again. Going out and buying props isn't the answer for me, so I'm going to start photographing books as I interact with them and move them around in my (tiny) apartment.
