I can’t remember if I’ve read any of Alison Weir’s historical fiction or not, but I’ve read many of her biographies through the years, and I love how she brings the human element into the stories of people- mostly women- who have long since been banished into the shadows of history, or whose legends have overshadowed the real person. I hope her fiction is as good as her nonfiction.

I have heard nothing but praise for Alison Weir. I have a title here to read by her, but honestly cannot remember which.
