Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme where we randomly select a book from our Goodreads To Be Read list and share it with the world. It’s hosted by Lauren’s Page Turners, so be sure to link back to her site so that we can all see what everyone plans to read!

From Goodreads: This charming classic, first published in 1970, brings together twenty years of correspondence between Helene Hanff, a freelance writer living in New York City, and a used-book dealer in London. Through the years, though never meeting and separated both geographically and culturally, they share a winsome, sentimental friendship based on their common love for books. Their relationship, captured so acutely in these letters, is one that will grab your heart and not let go.
I love books about books and reading, and I’ve heard nothing but praise for this book. It’s about time I tracked down a copy and gave it a shot. It’s been a while since I read a book about books.
I like this meme because I’m pretty sure if I did it, I would have no idea what half the books were or why they were on my TBR list to begin with. :p
I wonder that about some of the books on my TBR, too! 😂
Ah I love books about books too- glad this was so great! Awesome review!
Books about books are usually ones you can’t go wrong with. I had every intention to read this in January but I think I’ll pick it up at lunch one day this week and get lost in it, if I’m ready for my buddy read discussions
Books about books are hard to beat! I got this at the library yesterday. It’s pretty short, so I think I will sit down with it this weekend.
If I get to it maybe we can chat about it! 😆
Definitely!
