I love to travel, but sadly I can’t do it nearly as often as I would like to. Fortunately I can travel through books! With books I can travel around the world, through time, and to imaginary worlds without having to leave behind the comforts of home.
When I do travel, you can be sure that I will find my way to a bookstore or three while I’m away. I buy books as souvenirs so that when I look at my shelves, I’m reminded of the places I’ve been to.
My love of books and travel are rivaled only by my love of photography. Together, they keep me creative and curious about the world around me!
I try to read as widely as I can, but my favorite genres are Science Fiction and Fantasy so that’s primarily what I’ll review. My favorite books include The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Dune by Frank Herbert, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, and many others!

Okay, I’m on the struggle bus. I followed your blog ages ago, but haven’t received an email update in a long time. I saw your comment on my Valdemar post and followed your profile back to your blog and saw recent posts. It says on your site that I’m following you, but I can’t find you in my WordPress reader. If you get a bunch of notifications about me following/unfollowing you, I’m trying to figure this out…. I don’t want to miss your Valdemar posts.
Weird! As far as I know, emails are going out just fine. I know Jackie’s posts sometimes don’t show up in my reader, so I’ll just got an check her blog directly. The WordPress reader is so weird sometimes.
Okay, according to my email, I’ve been subscribed about three times. I’ll check back every so often to make sure things are getting through! I’m exciting about reading with you this year.
